Results Suggest Need for Greater Collaborative Care and Education

CAMBRIDGE, Ontario, March 6, 2012 – Misperceptions about eyecare professionals are surprisingly common, according to a new consumer survey by Transitions Optical, Inc., suggesting the need for greater collaborative care and education by eyecare and health professionals. The survey of 1,016 Canadians explored common perceptions consumers have of their eyecare professionals, thoughts on the importance of collaborative care, and implications for patient trust and purchasing habits.
